Just Continue

When your words all run together,
and you can't take it any longer,
when you can't breathe,
and you can't speak,
and nothing's as it seems,
just believe,
when you dance barefoot at midnight,
and you hide from the light,
when you smile behind you hand,
and turn your dreams into plans,
and you remove your mask,
just laugh,
when you're down in the dumps,
and you don't want to get up,
when the birds no longer sing,
and you'd give in to anything,
and you watch life slip by,
just cry,
and when those tears dry,
and you stand and reach for the sky,
when the rainbow appears,
and you no longer feel fear,
and you now know what to do,
just continue.

What I love about this poem is the inspirational tone, and the sense of movement the reader gets. And each stanza ends on a good line, that seems to say "It's just life." I think "just" is the best word of the poem, actually :)

I've noticed all of your work that I've read so far has a similar ryhme scheme and I like it a lot, but I would love for you to try something different. Try to challenge yourself and you will become an even talented writer than you are today. Very nice job and keep it up!
