Touched by an Angel

You breezed in and out of my life,
like a wind,
like a whisper,
you taught me tears were slow,
and pain much quicker,
you taught me it was alright to dance,
and okay to forget,
you touched my heart,
and left your mark,
then went on your merry may,
without a backward glance,
I know it's just your way,
you're an angel with clipped wings.

I dont really understand why the angel has clipped wings :( The whole rest of the poem is just so pretty and inspirational but then you say the angels wings are clipped and that's kinda sad.... sorry, just my thoughts. Overall, though, its a great poem

this is cool. i actually really like the last part thought because it ties into the title and really lets me understand the whole thing. I feel like it ties everything together. it's good.

I liked the rythum of it up until the last sentence: "you're an angel with clipped wings." It just kind of messed with the the whole piece. Other than that it really was an amazing piece of work! Keep it up.
