Symphony
I’ve only two ears!
to hear all this sound
I think, if I could
if it were I’d be offered
the chance
I’d trade both my eyes
to hear with more ears
I’d sigh not for my sight
What do you see
that cannot be strung
as a sound, melodious
adjectives whispering,
screaming into cloths
of the senses NO!
I’d give my taste
No food so sweet
as music’s cream
And my smell
For wafts of dynamics
Touch only saved for
the velvet symphonies
stroked across my cheek
Ears for hearing are better
than not
For where is the sense
in the senses I’ve got?
