The cold chill in the air
The feeling of being watched
Cold, dark, unfeeling eyes stare
From a sinister unseen place
Trying to calm nerves
There’s nothing there
But still the sensation
Of an unknown evil lurks
Taunting, scarring
Nothing good can come of this
Waiting for something to happen
The tension builds
Reflecting on all the unearthly things
Whispered through the dead trees
There out in the forest
Waiting, waiting terrified
