My Nature
Sometimes the wind is too strong in life,
And the rain is too cold and causes strife,
Sometimes the bitter chills of winter kill,
The leaves don't fall, they're dead and still,
The snowflakes are an icy death,
And the sky has no sunlight left,
The waves in the ocean crash without sound,
And the missing girls are never found,
In my nature, death is just a way to live,
When you torture the souls until they give in,
And when the bloody screams finally stop,
The moonlight will shine on mountaintops,
The stars will twinkle in spite of themselves,
While they pay no attention to the screams for help,
Rain will fall and clean up the mess,
The blood of a girl who was put to rest,
The snow will cover up her dead eyes,
The wind will sweep away the lies,
And although her search continues still,
She's gone now because my nature kills.
