Checking the clock
Though the time never changes
Almost like standing still
Just because I’m waiting
Waiting, ever so impatiently
Thinking hurry, hurry
Why won’t the time come?
Why can’t I just leave this place?
Where I’m waiting

Looking around
Will the clock ever move?
Will I just be left waiting?

Forgetting the time and the clock
I run out to face the day
