Judgements
The stares and giggles
 All tell the same story
The story of someone being judged

 “That girl she likes black,
 It’s her favorite color,
 She wears black clothes,
 Black nail polish,
 Black make-up,
 She never talks
 Just keeps to herself,
And I heard she writes poetry.”

 These are just some things
 She hears everyday
 But never to her face
Or in more than a whisper

 They say she’s depressed
 But she knows the truth
 So she gives no care
 To their judgments
 Not depressed
 But thoughtful
 She just keeps going
