We Were Wrong All Along
Maybe we should forget it, drop everything
Let's just walk away and pretend we didn't have anything
I never want to say goodbye
but for some reason, this time it feels right
I gotta whisper, to hide my pain
But it's worth it, then to go through that again
It's time to go our own way, turn off our light
Then maybe I can get some sleep tonight
It's hard to believe, we wasted all this time
I never figured breaking up would feel this fine
But maybe it's because our passion was lost
We broke into tears and the smiles were tossed
I never thought that all along
We were only pretending, to think that we were strong
