Fragile Pieces
Why is everything so breakable?
Every moment seems so paper thin,
Every word so flimsy,
Too shallow, too sharp.
Everybody plays a part
In an act that seems so familier,
So fake,
Too afraid to end the charade.
Why is everything so breakable?
Why is everybody so artificial?
Because the world is too fragile,
Too harsh to seem real.
