My Girlfriend
This person of influence sees me, and I see her.
Her stunning smile just radiates contentment.
When she giggles it’s constantly the identical school girl giggle.
It’s kind of humorous though, the way I can hear her try to keep up with me,
When I’m running like I’m Jesse Owens and she’s a slow sleepy sloth.
I’m so far ahead that I stop and smell the lilacs and in which I bestow one to her.
I taste the spearmint gum that she always chews.
Her hair is so soft it’s like a fresh loaf of bread that just came out of the oven.
I love the way her soft hands lace perfectly in mine like the way a baseball mitten fits an outfielder.
I know that she’s a keeper when I just feel her beautiful eyes sparkle at me.
