My Room of Peace
The doors of my room are closed around me.
I feel as if it is a safe place.
It protects me from the disappointment in my mother's voice, the yelling siblings, and the world that is slowly crashing around me.
Inside of this room is a different from being outside. In there it is quiet, calm, and the perfect place to relax.
All you can hear in there is the faint sound of the television sitting in front of the lazy boy chair in the corner and a small buzzing from my phone plugged in the wall across from the lazy boy chair.
That room is where I go for peace, to find myself and think hard about decisions.
Lately that room has not been used.
The days go by and i can't make time to find myself and relax in my old room.
