The Customer
In disbelief, I shudder to believe
That the world would grieve
If I my heart decided to perceive
Individuality as an abnormality
With due consideration
That the innovation
Of whom I am
Is the worst verse
That my heart could rehearse
Since, feel free not to wince
When I say,
There exists no audience
In disbelief, I shudder to believe
That in this metaphysical store
Who I am
Is what most customers
Are looking for,
I sit and wait upon a shelf
Poverty is intolerance
To embrace is wealth
So you see I cannot be
What most customers are looking for
Because most of them
Are much too poor
