Remembrance
The rushing river
gets complimented by laughter
we sit upon the decks
i giggle and hide my face
while she smiles
watching her hair sway in the wind
affection grew over the summer
my hand glides through light hair
as her head lays on my lap
mist hits our faces
we savor every moment
enjoying one anothers company
everything said and done was vital
for now, it's just a memory
