The Cycle
Never did I think the day I would see
Was were you packed and said good-bye to me.
Not after you said you’d never leave,
Now you’re free.
Your free to fulfill your dreams,
The ones you spoke of so passionately,
Leaving me to stitch up the seams.
The seams of my heart are fixed once more,
And the sun has become a familiar friend.
That’s when you showed up at my door.
And began the cycle yet again.
