Eradication
The sun is nowhere now,
My time is running out.
Glancing back and forth in every direction,
Gazing upon my own reflection.
I’m weak, pitiful, strong, and fearless.
I’m mournful, worthless, and I’m sorry you don’t get this.
Where is that ridiculous light,
That accompanies me on my flight?
Was it my failed sight,
Or did my captor come by night?
What is to become of this day,
When the daylight faded away?
Dimmed by failure and disapproval,
Shattered by my sudden removal.
What is this? It’s nonsense.
Stop talking, it’s pointless.
Don’t let my memory fall flat,
Forget this; enjoy that.
