Voice
Have you ever
Heard a song
And thought
It was sung for you?
Have you ever
Read a book
And thought
It was written for you?
Have you ever
Seen a sunset
And thought
It was created for you?
Have you ever
Met a soul
And thought
It was begging to you?
Maybe I'm selfish
Maybe I'm wrong
But sometimes a soul
Screams for help
In more ways
Than one
Just begs an ear
To hear their dying call
When a soul
Loses its voice
A body
Loses its will
For now
I have let
Smiles
Small acts
Kind words
Be my voice
But not everyone
Speaks that language
Let this poem
Be my voice
Let it help you
Dig deep
The courage is there
I promise
Your voice
Though silent
Was heard
I will always listen
Not only with my ears
But with my heart
Because the voice of love
Is unstoppable
Impossible
To be drowned out
