The Girl I Am(:
Average is complicated, while as abnormality is not.
Typical is boring and being different is amusing.
I’m not the “I want to know her name.” girl.
I’m the “Hey, there’s a familiar face.” girl.
I’m not the girl who measures out her food.
I’m the girl that just eats, a lot.
I’m not the girl that would cry over spilled milk.
I’m the girl that would spill it, laugh, and spill the rest.
I’m not the girl to whine about the dirt and the mud.
I’m the girl to close her eyes and jump right into it.
I’m not the anti-hunting kind of girl.
I’m the “Eat More Meat” kind of girl.
I’m not the girl who tells you not to burp.
I’m the girl who hears it, rates it, and then beats you at your own game.
I’m not the girl who likes to argue or has to be right.
I’m the kind of girl who just accepts it and moves on.
I’m not the girl to frown because I’m upset.
I’m the girl to smile, just to make others do the same.
I’m not the “girly-girl” or even “girlfriend material.”
I’m just “one of the guys.”
Simply put, I’m a simple girl.
What you see is what you get.
