Broken
Sad and alone she weeps
 Tears like a river
 Roll down her face
 Her heart feeling
As if it’s been ripped out
 And stepped on
Leaving a hole in her chest
 She cannot fix

 Beaten and broken she weeps
Her face pale and tear stained
 Heart fatally crushed
Yet she has not the strength
 To pick up the pieces

 A cold wind sweeps up
 The shards of her heart
 She screams in agony
 As what’s left of her
 Is drown in a sea
 Of loneliness
