Dawn of the day
Curling tendrils of the dawn
Dusky, bright, sunlight song
To be the day a night must grow
And thus the dawn shall ever flow
To chase the dark and hunt the moon
Guided by a birdsong tune
The sky alights with cannon fire
Which is the day the dawn must sire
Shot forth from dark as inspiration
The voice of all nighttime aspiration
Be true my day, as bluesky sight
And fill my mind once more with light
