Hopeless
Every day passes like a cold wind in fall
With no distinct differences at all
Cause you still haunt my dreams
You’re in everything
And now there’s no escaping
Just the thought of you drags me down
I’m long past the point where I drowned
I’ve been trying to move on
And sing a new song
But I’m not over the fact that you’re gone
Each day adds a layer of crushed heart
to the ever growing pile of last hope
I try to move away
But you make me stay
By the wish that you’ll visit one day
But who am I kidding
It’s over, we’re done
It’s time I find a new someone
One who’ll let me stay without a price
One who’ll never make me cry
Looking back I now see
We jumped in too hastily
Is disappointment all I’ll ever be?
