Pearl
When I was a little girl,
I had an imaginary friend named pearl.
We walked through the thick forest
We acted like tourists
I laughed and cried with you
You showed me the bright side, that life is going to be new
We sat on the porch all night
Then after caught every firefly in sight
Pearl told jokes that only we got
We made cookies in my easy bake oven but they were always to hot
I loved pearl
She was my best friend, in this world.
