The tell tale heart poem
This story is about a man who ends up dead.
A story that is drenched in red.
The man was watched night after night.
With barley any light.
This story is a sad tale.
With every detail told so very well.
What vexed the man was the eye.
So he decided the man must die.
He didn't want the gold.
But the eye made his blood run cold.
Some police men came he let them in.
He had done so well with hiding the sin.
This story was told time and time again.
But now it must come to a silent end.
