The Best Day Ever
A day when everyone was good and kind to their sisters and brothers
Would be a day of peace joy and happiness
All sorrow would be gone, no more would fear control our lives
Instead we would all smile and laughter together as the one big family
Instead of grey drapes looming over the back streets
And main streets of towns light silky drapes of pink and green
None of the dark colors of evil shall we see
The smell of the air no longer ashes and blood with the faint smell of dried roses,
But of sweet juicy apples, salty sea air, and the calming smell of cattle grazing in green pastures
The world will no longer feel rough and unkind with many prickles of a porcupine
No a velvet blanket would embrace the world and everyone in it
The taste of tears will no longer be upon our tongues
But instead the creamy taste of kind words will rest upon them
On the day when everyone is your friend
A day that will never end
If it would only just begin
