The Sounds
Oh, the beautiful sounds, swimming,
In my head,
This conjuring head,
Making those whimsical sounds.
Oh, the wondrous sounds, like fireworks,
In my head,
Fighting to reveal itself,
To be heard with delight.
Oh, the blustering bubbling sounds,
I let escape to freedom,
Announcing itself with ‘toots’ and ‘whistles’,
Followed by the thundering applause.
Oh, the magical sounds,
Must come to an end,
Though not in sadness,
Oh not indeed.
Leaving behind those marvelous sounds,
For all to listen and love,
And if you listen real hard, you might hear,
Those extraordinary sounds within yourself.
