Intangible
The darkness took over you
and become your reality.
Not realizing the truth you told,
the evil was within,
controlling your thoughts,
your emotions,
the evil had hidden the love
you had just for me. I had fallen in love also
and equally with the unfamiliar, unknowingly.
Sitting there for hours
staring out into thin air
as if it could have been tortuous,
but the darkness had been convinced
that it could be replaced by my love for you.
The darkness had revealed feelings
and knew I had fallen in love
with not only you,
but the evil within.
However your love convinced me otherwise,
showing you wanted to be happy with me again
and ignored the intangible.
I sat near the tree your life rested upon
and thought,
realizing you hadn’t changed
but the evil choose otherwise.
Your laugh and smile was hidden,
the darkness only flaunted
that it had influenced your thoughts,
which drove you away.
And at this point,
I don’t know what I did or said,
but I wasn’t the one that ran through your mind
in result of your suicide.
