Friend
I remember the times we had
The adventures and conversations
The way you could outsmart me
Your faults and your perfections
Your sarcasm and your wit
The way your heart opened
The way your faith was strong
We never could agree
But bickering was never a casualty
I remember when our senses went on vacation
They probably went to the Bahamas but who knows
I remember us being opposites
A blond and a brunette
One with eyes blue and one with brown
One of a faith the other disagreed with
I remember us fighting
Our friendship was on the rocks
A simple fight was threatening to tare us apart
But somehow we pulled through
And through those differences we called each other that wonderful word
Friend.
