Do You Know?
You can look into her eyes
But can you see the lies?
 The hatred and despise?
 No
 You can see her smile
 The twinkle in her eyes

 You can see her smile
But you cannot see her denial
You cannot see everything she holds inside
 Everything she wants to hide
 You can see her happiness
 You can see her strength

 But
 Can you see her depression?
 Her aggression?
 Do you notice her pain?
Do you see what isn’t there?
 Do you care?

 Would you ever guess?
 Her smile was fake?
Would you ever think she wants to die?
Would you ever imagine she doesn’t even want to try?
Do you know her real pain?
