How does negativity taste?
Because you feed on it.
I can see you dissolving,
from the acid in their words.
You're blinded by lies,
trapped in the obscurity.
When I offer my hand
I'm immersed in the wrong.
One more victim of circumstance.
How does negativity taste?

The author's comments:
I wrote this to help people realize that negativity can spread like wildfire. I can be in the best mood, and one negative comment can bring me down the rest of the day. I know other teenagers can relate to this because high school is a feeding ground for negative bacteria.
