I Think of You
The Stars,
Moon and
too
bright
Sun
cannot compare
to my love
for
you.
Thoughts of you
invade
my
mind, and
though we are separated
by
each
reflective
green
sign marking each
passing mile,
I
think
of
you,
as if you were
here,
warming my skin in your
burning embrace.
I think of
YOU
as each
short
second
ticks by as
slowly
as
molasses.
Each hour
drags on,
each day
passes
as
slow
as
possible
yet my
love
cannot
fade.
As my phone
chimes, I know
it's
you,
sending
me
a
whispered
word
through
the
soft and silent
stratosphere.
And though
you're
millions
of
miles
away,
I still love
you.
