Sorrows
As her head hits the pillow,
a tear crawls down her face.
Lost dreams and empty sorrows,
tonight she escapes.
Uncap the bottle;
let the emotions break through.
All of her secrets,
they’re finally unscrewed.
Too often alone,
empty inside.
Quivering, deserted,
she’s told to abide.
But now she’s breaking free.
She’ll leave her pities behind.
So someone, grab her hand.
Help create a new life.
