Play Pretend
She's innocent
But her face is lined with guilt
The horror on her face
Is frozen with shock still
Her lips are dry and closed up tight
She doesn't speak a word
Her eyes were weeping through the night
Fromt the bloody screams she heard
Her hair is down and tangled
She's took weak to brush it through
Her skin is pale like a ghost
And it's all because of you
She saw you kill with murderous hands
Saw the life of a girl drained away
She saw the twisted smile on your face
And now she'll suffer everyday
When you saw her, she started to run
All the while she thought it was her end
When you caught her, she screamed in fear
But all you told her was to play pretend
You say, you didn't see anything
Just leave before I change my mind
And if you even say a word
Nothing of you, is all they'll find
