What Happened to the Love
I held my head up through the hardest times
They were always there in the worst of crimes
I lived in my comfort zone
Never to see those that were born, elsewhere
I never been there
But I feel the empathy
I ask for no sympathy
When so much worse happens in the world beyond us
So if you must
Hold those who lost their family, their homes
In the coldness of the war
Who didn’t do anything to deserve the worst
But got what was torn
Felt the pain we wouldn't even see
It doesn't make sense to me
Why we are fighting
Leave them there crying
We got our freedom
Wealth, strength
What happened to the love?
