a sad truth
Deep in dark an sadness I lay,
Waiting, watching, hopping that one day,
A light will show me the way.

 A saddening truth,
 A reality too,
 That no one is coming,
 No one that could.

 Hidden from sight,
 A vision at night.

 I’m a ghost in a shell,
 A person with no say,
 I don’t know who I am.

 I don’t know what I’ve become,
 A monster,
 A shadow,
 A thing that just waits.

 A saddening truth ,
 A maddening glare,
 I have none of that,
 Stunning flare.

Still I wait here in the dark,
Waiting, watching, hopping that one day,
A light will some how show me the way.
