The day you slipped away
My heart stopped beating
I stopped breathing
My face turned red
And most of all
You left.
As I sit on my bed
Thinking of the days
Where you had your arms around me
Kissing me,
Hugging me,
and When you whispered in my ear
That you loved me more than anything
I kept thinking...
Did you really love me?
Did you open your heart to let me in?
Or did you just put a lock on it
for you to give me the wrong key?
I started to get a tear in my eye
As they kept running down my face
One by one.
Then my heart dropped
And everything was over.
