Wintertime
The sun doesn’t
Shine as bright
And the clouds
More apparent
The wind is louder
Faster and stronger
The sky covered
In sheets of white mist
The evergreens are the only foliage
They tremble
With the weight of the snow
A round figure is formed
A carrot for a nose
His name, Frosty
After the snowman to whom he
Ressembles
The hot cocoa steams inside
The windows fogging with the
Warmth and heat
My feet are concealed in a blanket
Knitted and scratchy
I am warm and lively
With my mug
While the world outside
Is bare
