Best Friend Is Gone

I tried not to cry
But the news brought tears to each eye
My best friend is gone,
All I can think of is what went wrong.
Don’t know what I’m going to find,
As my mind starts to rewind
Revealing all our memories
I hope would make me happy please
When we first met,
You thought I was a pest
Though I kept trying
Without doing any lying
We became friends
Until the very end
When we became close,
We made it the most
No more time
It seems like a crime
Now that you went away
Today is just not my day
