Reality
There was laughter.
Happy people danced.
Perhaps too happy.
The old lady stroked the keys of the ol piano.
A beautiful melody followed.
Dancing and dancing.
Did these people ever stop?
Did I even want them to?
Feeling so calm, relaxed.
I swayed to the laughter, the melody.
My beautiful dress flowing.
My feet moving.
Hair pinned perfectly,
Where was this place?
Am I dreaming? But it feels so real.
The music comes to an end.
Along with the dancing.
Smiles disappear.
Tired faces remain.
But not for long.
Everything fades.
For I find it was just a dream.
I rub my tired eyes,
Thoughts race through my head.
As the once amazing dreams slowly drifts away.
I want to live in my dreams,
And dream about reality.
Maybe then life would be more pleasing.
