Moving On

Life is too short to stay in one place
I need to move forward or I'll never finish this race.
Opportunities pass and eventually they are gone
I cannot stay here; I need to move on.
Sitting idle, day after day
Where do I turn next, everything is so murky and gray.
Nothing is changing, however, I am withdrawn
I am determined; I am set; I am moving on.
Never looking back; always looking ahead
Not dwelling; nor stopping; but pushing forward instead.
There have been many changes that I've acted upon
This is different; this is new; I have moved on.
