When Love Takes Over
It’s Saturday night can’t find those z’s, can’t get the sight of you out of my mind, losing sleep from the loss, loss of one’s love, you used to feel the same, so I thought, but then you quit this game, so now I’m on this one way street, hoping I can forget our phase, because love is just one big maze, you can easily get lost, or at least that’s what you’ve shown me, I haven’t found the right way yet, learning how to forgive and forget, I know there is another way, I just have to figure it out, even though I sound the same, I am sure that I will win this game, this is just one course I’m running, when love takes over, the track will be renewed, no longer under construction, I hope that when that day comes, I will no longer be bleeding, no scars, no pain, as if I were never cut in the first place, so I can love without trying, no longer bleeding love, but instead absorbing it, and never feeling to the point of too much love.
