Dear Father
It always
starts the same way
It rips pieces
of my heart
one by one
slowly out of my chest.
And yet,
I always
gave you
the benefit of doubt.
I always thought
that you had changed,
but you never did.
I won't say
I'm sorry that
you were dumb and pathetic
enough to lose me,
Because I'm not.
You lost me
and it was
your own fault.
I'm free now,
free to do as i please.
So, this is a final
farewell to you...
Goodbye, Dad...
