Thank You, Sir
He is handsome, he is bright.
He is a thief in the night.
He walks with my heart
Until death due us part.
His face appears and I smile.
We chatted for awhile.
“I’ll catch you later!”
So I shall sit and ponder
His wild eyes, blue yonder.
The door revealed his magnificent light.
My heart skipped with its fright.
“After you my lady,” was his response.
Like the time of the renaissance.
I swept through the door,
Requesting no more.
“Thank you, sir.”
The remaining day was but a blur.
