I have a dream...too
Martin Luther King Jr. had a dream
That all the little black children
And all the little white children
Can live in harmony and peace
I have a dream, too
That all the black children and grown-ups can live in peace and harmony
All I seem to see in the news is black people dying
And guess who kills them..other black people
All I see is black people fighting in school
And guess who starts them..other black people
Dr.King freed and we take that for granted
White people used to do us wrong
But know we do each other wrong
We used to get beat up for the color of our skin
Now we beat each other up
Why?..we're the same color
We used to get hung and killed for the color of our skin
But now we kill each other
Why? you ask..over small idiotic things
We need to join together and like a true race
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. had a dream
And I have a dream...too

Have you ever tried using the same amount of syllables in a poem all the way thro? Try it next time?
