Shadow Of Her Eyes
Quiet my tounge, I'm leaving my former self
And the old reflections that lay broken on the shelf
I left the note on the fridge where you were sure to see
That I was slipping away, from everything we used to be
I am parallel in the shadow of your eyes
Floating further and further with the echo of the tides
I'm betwixt a vice and virtue, wasting away, everyday
Going insane with no one to blame, what is left to change
When action is misplaced, everything's the same
Decorate these lies with the cover of your smile
It will all be ok...in just a little while
I can see a future from a fantasy growing dim
But one without that loving stare is not with believing in
