His Poison

He sits on the couch
And watches T.V
He has it wrapped in his hands
Like it’s just a coffee
But what’s inside
Can ruin lives
The poison speaks for him
“I’ve only had two.”
While his daughter is quietly suffering inside
Its taken control
No need for help
He says he’s fine
But the poison, is still alive
