Pale blushing rose
Streaked with pastel lavender Blossoms through the gentle gold Unfurls across the scarlet blue Flaring into dusky sapphire.

Shadowed golden fingers
Stretch across the depthless dark
Smother the blazing tendrils Extinguish the vibrant ocher Kindling the silver blossoms.

Eager roseate feathers
Twine with the charcoal paint
Weave through the fading ink
Tint the azure amethyst
Staining the white clouds.

This poem attempts to capture the various colors of the sky and chronicles sunrise, sunset, and then dawn again
