Comfort
When it all seems to go wrong,
where does one turn?
To the comforting things.
A friend,
a movie,
something to satisfy the sweet tooth.
Not me.
I turn to my music.
Beethoven to lighten my heart,
country to show me the good things in life,
rap to show me it could be worse.
When I'm ready to just sit and cry,
on go my headphones.
When I want to hurt someone,
on go my headphones.
I take my music everywhere,
I can come across troubles anywhere,
but on go my headphones.
They save me when I'm drowning
in hopeless situations,
love, loss, hurt.
My headphones are my best friend,
they always seem to know exactly what to say,
when it all seems to go wrong.
