Mirrors
The silence has never been louder
Darkness threatning to overcome me
Wrapping it's fingers around my body
Choking me, stabbing me, I'm losing myself
Lock me away in it's own little world
Maybe there I'd feel numb
Maybe then the pain exploding from
every memory would cease to exist
Standing here with so many words
but none at all
I can't look at you,but your staring straight into my eyes
Your eyes glimmer with hope
A smile creeping across your face
I envy you
I long for that feeling of happiness
If only reflections spoke the truth
For now, I'll stand here looking at myself in this mirror
Not recongizing the girl staring back
