Put in a room
where I don’t fit

You’re so smart,

You must get all
the answers right.

Work, work, work
No play time now

Don’t you dare show me a frown

A yearn to be with the other kids
Have fun in the sun
until the school-day
is done.

Don’t understand
this doesn’t make sense
The sight of my teacher
makes me want to wince

I’m just a kid
I want to say
But that is not true
I am changed
Because of you

Very nice poem, the last stanza made me think (which is a good thing to have your reader do)
