The truth is hard to bear
Something I can’t handle on my own
I never thought it would be this hard
I never imagined what it would cause
It’s something I tried so hard to forget
But sometimes it just has to come out
It may be hard to explain
But someone should be there to listen
Even if that someone isn’t real or awake
The truth needs to be heard
