Two Dilemmas

Resignation for one
Anguish for the other
Both caused by one source
One brilliant, beautiful source
Who has such limited knowledge
Of what’s been done
A smile of theirs is one of mine
A tear will do the same
The dilemmas
Now painstakingly put:
This “who” is off limits
And she wouldn’t want me anyways.
